Finely put the finishing touches on this 4/4 fiddle. This one gave me a hard time on finishing. I think it was worth the Effort, It has a nice ring to it and the harmonics are great.

You said "little fiddle." Now that I know you make 1/16-sized instruments, I'm starting to get confused again.

Gorgeous.

I'm curious... how long does it take for one of yours to "open up" acoustically?? Or is that even applicable to violins?

I see the mistake it is a 4/4 size instrument.

3 to 6 months depending on the humidity. That is if it is played every day.

Thanks, I think I need to learn more about taking better photos. Maybe it's the distortion from reducing but the photos don't seem to represent the true color.

I found this...it was in a copy of Workbench magazine in 2001. I'm not sure how much it will help you, however,
