ca-friction polish-buff-wax

BTW someone asked about the celtic ring/knot so, I'll do a write-up and post in the next few days on how to do it. If someone else knows how and wants to post ...go for it.

African Cherry, Holly, and Rosewood

Beeswax

Not using tung oil helped maintain it's bright orange/red color.

Don't believe I ever posted this one. This was the first kit I made.

Walnut and cherry. Cut angle was 60 degrees.
It has two different views. Same screwdriver.

BLO finish.

White Oak with Walnut. 5 or 6 CA coats. Big and bulky for arthritic hands.

Lousy cell phone camera, not the operator's fault!!!!!!!!

Default How long will it last?

Was always curious about color fastness so I guess we'll see. Hedge (local cut, dried in my shop), sanded to 600, CA for a crack (hedge=crack=always), CA for the rest of the handle to even it out, BLO (or was it BLO then CA?), nasty spar varnish with UV inhibitors. I kept the shape real simple cause I want to see what the colors will do.

Padauk. Polished with EEE. No other finish yet. Too cold
I think the ferrule that comes with the kit is a little too big, so made one out copper pipe.
