Default Diablo Sandpaper Question

Its from Home Depot and it says premium ceramic blend. I am not really up on my sandpapers however I sure seem to get a lot of swirlmarks with the random orbital. I do sweep the surface from time to time and hand sand when done with the power, and go through all the grits up to 180-220.and I do raise the grain. Maybe its my eyes but I dont see them until I throw the finish on there....like every time.I have floresent fixture directly over my sanding table and an incadesent 100 watt bulb fixture also, and sometimes I will take the piece outside and look it over and sure enough when I put on the transtint or just a natural finish of some type there they are and its time to start over again ! Any tips would help and thanks !

Once I pass 100 grit, I use the more expansive papers. I have found that this is the only way to minimize the odd size grits that can leave the trace marks. I also vacuum the piece with the shop vac to remove any loose debris. From there I tack cloth it.

There's a lot of difference in the type and brands of sanders also.
Some will leave marks no matter what paper you are using.

JJ hasn't been real active lately, either. I hope he's not wearing himself down.
