Default I don't think I can do it....

Sprint wants $800.00 for 4 Iphone 4s's for the family and I just don't think I can justify the expense. That doesn't include apple's protection plan or anything else.....

Anyone recommend a good non-apple smart phone?

LOML is trying to decide between an iphone and a droid.

This list is what I sent her last week:

Best Android List by carrier.

I agree with it, but I still love my HTC Evo 3D

Thanks Greg. I dunno what the deal is but they seem to be on the Samsung crack in that article. Our last two phones were Samsung phones and they sucked. Needless to say I'm not interested in trying that again.

I'm leaning heavily towards the EVO as well.

The LG Optimus T from T-Mobile is what I currently have. Its a little on the older side, probably 2 years or so, but I haven't really had an issue with it yet. I did have to completely reset it once, because of a bad app that I had downloaded (couldn't get rid of the bugger), but other than that, I have had no problems.

We ended up ordering the HTC Evo 4g last night on Wirefly.com. They saved us about &600.00 over ordering from Sprint.

Also ordered Otterboxes for all 4 on Amazon, saved quite a bit there as well.

Phones and cases should be at the house in a couple of days.

$257.00 vs $1,500.00+ As much as I'd love to have an Iphone, economically it doesn't make sense.

Good choice, Mater. LOML and I both had the EVO 4G until I upgraded to the EVO 3D. I only moved up for the extra memory, the 3D photos aren't that useful.

LOML is still using the EVO 4G, but she just dropped it and cracked the screen a couple days ago. I think she has 4 months left before she can use her upgrade discount, so we'll be just putting it in an OtterBox to prevent the crack getting worse until Sept.

I think she'll be going to the iPhone then since it is much better for her work. All the MD's use iPhones as there are apps she supports that are compatible. She almost has to go that route as no other smartphones are supported or approved for security and HIPAA rules.
