THat thing is a monster. Too big for my tastes, but it would be kinda neat. I think I saw something about how they built that on TV a while back. Every room is an individually built cube that is later slid into place and bolted in.

This is more my speed. The wife and I took the 11 day cruise in Alaska and the Galapagos cruise. On both, we were 2 of the 8 passengers although the ships hold a few more than that. Every meal is catch of the day plus other fresh seafood they bring on board. There is an assigned crewmember for each couple to spoil you rotten. The passengers vote on what they want to do each day, although there are some minor guidelines.

You may also be pleased to know that Oasis has the largest lifeboats in the cruise world. Each one can hold nearly 370 people.
But it looks like they only have life boats for about 4000 people out of a passenger capacity of over 6000...

My old company pre-built/tested the network infrastructure for that ship. I've never seen that much Cisco gear in one place powered up.

Here is the problem I see with that.
1st I hate crowds.
2nd I hate people.
3rd I am anti social.
4th Wife wants to go on a trip on that monster.

Put me on a Island with a beach and a cabana bar and I am all in.

Here's the thing. On a ship that big, it has it's OWN island with a beach and cabana bar.
