Default Watch the Dixie

It just BLEW through near-term resistance (81) and is smacking against the long-term resistance at 82.

It's been 'off the radar' for a while, but the Euro (and Yaun? Yen?) are pushing it up. Don't know if the carry trade is still in play. There was a big fear of a rapid unwind (that didn't seem to happen). Oil seems to be trading in tandem, but there's isn't a panic to the door. Makes oil look better and better.

The post martini lunch trade is going to be interesting today.

Saw that. Oil traded down this morning on a big build in inventory. I'm holding the USO looking for oil to go to $85.00 or better. Think I'll buy back the calls I wrote. The carry trade has been working. Look at the charts on CLF and FCX. I'm a FCX buyer at $74. Tech has been unloved recently, thinking about rolling into that trade on a mrkt pullback.

CLF is a perpetual fav that I trade a lot. I got back in at 56.50 in early march. WLT is another fav, but it got to rich for my blood (probably because the Najarians were pumping it). I had a long wonderful ride of FCX, but it got too overbought for my game. I'd like it again at 70.

And if LOML wasn't interrupting me every 5 minutes, I'd know why the DXY and VIX just spiked.

Check out the MACD on FCX. The fast MA is crossing (down) the signal line and the divergance is underwater.

I've got it as a SELL right now. But check with Harry first.

Just checked my tax lots on CLF. I still have some that I bought at 37.40

We don't know what we're saying either, but it's fun to say it.
