Default fisrt post and a queston or two

Hello everyone, my name is Kevin. I am 35 and live in ct. I have always wanted to learn to play violin but never could afford one. I am a beg/inter. wood worker and cold use a little guidance. this is the plan i was going to use do you all feel it is complete enough to use. follow the link and click the free download link. Now i have NEVER carved a day in my life. so afer about 5 hrs today gettin it all layed out this is what i have got carved so far. It wont be useable as it is carved out of bass wood because i didnt want ot waste expensive maple to prove to my self i can do this

Welcome Kevin

You are on the right track.

After you finish that one do a few more.

Use oak next, this will give you some experience on hard wood.

Remember to sharpen the carving tools about every 15 min.
