Default Steampunk lamp with drawings

Someone over on IAP posted this lamp, and when I followed the link it shows drawings so someone with a compucarve or somesuch could whip these out in a hurry.

Dunno if theres interest, but thought I'd post the link just in case.

The plans look nice Todd, the only problem is that you have to sign up as a pro member to be able to down load the designs.

This link gives you the pricing.

I think I will stick to drawing them myself.

Ahhh, my bad.

I don't think the steampunk crowd would want them out of wood anyway. And I don't think the compucarve can handle brass/copper can it???

Was showing this to the wife and we both agree that it would work better as a wall mount articulating type lamp. Takes up way to much desktop as it is.

With a change of cutters and thin material it could cut the material.

The problem will come from the metal shavings and dust getting into the belts and motor. Causing a great amount of damage.

So, No I would not recommend cutting metal with the CC/CW machine.

I agree that it would look better mounted to a wall also. I always had a thing for articulating type lamps.
