Default Spring

Anyone have pictures of any signs of spring yet?

I was a spring day here 62 degrees, 50 MPH gusts and lots of fast moving clouds.

I have yet to see a daffodil pop.

Maple tree in the front yard is full of buds. Day lillies in the back yard are starting to pop up.

Seed catalogs are stacked up right next to my computer here and I'll be placing a bunch of orders on Monday. No surer sign of spring than that!

I'm going to be ordering some of these newly released pink blueberries. Wouldn't they be called "pinkberries" rather than blueberries?

We've got some crocus popping up. I think they'll regret it, though.

Only thing sprouting here is mud when I step down through the snow that is now melting faster than I drink coffee.

Never heard of those. If those go well, send some pics this way. I bet that would be something to see.

Still froze up here with a good foot of snow on the level. Haven't seen any robins yet. There's an old sayin that holds pretty true: When the robin has been snowed on three times then winter is over.
