Default Another time sucker

Between my regular work and my summer logging project I have been restoring a '60s era loader for my tractor. I found it on Craigslist and hope to have it finished in 2-3 weeks (weather permitting).

Here's what I started with:

Yikes, Lemme guess, you have to sand it and spray paint it?
Besides that, what else?
Looks like a daunting task to me. I would invite over a
couple of friends for a loader BBQ...many fingers make less work.

Looks like he may have a little rust to take care of as well. Looks like it could be a challenging project RJ.

You guessed right, mostly sandblasting and then painting. I will probably do most of the painting with a brush as the implement paint that I use does self level.

My biggest challenge now is getting the right drying weather.

Maybe someday. The loader is going on a different tractor.

Hey Jim and JJ,

Send some of that rain down here. We had a grass fire Saturday that was a little too close for comfort.

We were out with the son selling popcorn for scouts when my wife's grandmother called. Said that there was a grass fire a few blocks down from our house. I went home, just to keep an eye on things and grab any paperwork that I may need in the future (house papers, birth certs, etc).

Turns out my wife's grandmother was wrong on her information. The fire wasn't a few blocks down from my house...

It was two houses down from my house! Made a few friends that day. The firefighters down here were quick to respond, and even called in a few other departments to get it knocked down quickly. I let them do their thing and stayed out the way, but did provide them with some bottled water and snacks when needed.

So, lets swap guys. You guys send me the rain, and I will send you a few hot days with low humidity.

Alex, I'd gladly send you this weather system if I could. It's been stuck here for over a week and is showing no sign of moving for the next several days.
