Default Ouch

Was in the shop lifted a 3/4 4x8 sheet of plywood started to turn popped a muscle on my inside lower left forearm, man dose that sting and burn looking like popeye at the moment from my watch band to my elbow, at least I did not drop it on my foot at the same time.
Have been doing a lot of heavy lifting at work I think the body is not in shape yet time to hit the weight bench again after I can use both arms.

Excedrin Back & Body will be put to the test today, late shift at work on Friday should be interesting.

Be on the lookout for that being a torn muscle. If you get much bruising I'd recommend you go see a Dr.

I tore my quadracept muscle this summer (rectus one) and it did not get all that black and blue, and it did not hurt all that much. I found out about it only after I got a lump on my leg and a divot formed next to the lump. Family doc and orthoped both said they would not monkey with it because it does not seem to be affecting my movement, and surgery is risky and a very long recovery.

A lump and divot are definitely sure signs. The Dr.s don't report a high success rate for reattaching torn muscle in folks over 40...

Both docs said there was no reason to even try. I have good mobility and it is not affecting me at all, so they said they were unwilling to mess with it. Surgery is a very risky procedure, even when things go well.

Got past the sting part plus the swelling has went down a lot, started on the 5lb dumbbell lifting 5 reps now and then, you would think I would have been in shape since that was my coffee cup lifting arm.
