Default Sand Paper

Anyone ever buy this? I guess you need to cut the diagonal to make it work. How many wraps will this make?
If I figure this right this is about 4 and 1/2. I guess the 1/2 is waste.

Always glad to help. And I wouldn't go finer than 120 on a Performax/Jet drum sander...

I noticed the 120 was pretty darn smooth as the wood came out the back side.

With 120 you've got to watch for burn marks on stuff like maple, any finer and you'll definitely get burn marks on maple and most other woods I've sanded.

ok, thanks for the insight. I have only used this a small amount since I picked it up off the neighbors swap and sale last spring. But man it makes sanding so much easier.

I use the heck out of mine. It definitely saves time..unless you're burning the crap out of your work

Do you have yours on a 20 Amp circuit? Mine is on a 15 and keeps pooping the limiter. The data plate says 14 amp draw so I think I am overloading it.
