After just four hours of exasperating effort - I finally got my "Hello World" written, deployed and running on my Blackberry!







Geez that seemed a helluva lot more painful than it should have been.
Having most of the examples/docs from RIM - not actually work - prolly set me back a bit...

I know the feeling having fought similiar battles with Palm stuff and now PocketPC. It gets easier from here<g>.....

I have to write a Windows Mobile app and I fully expect it to be a heckofalot easier.

And I *know* Java and don't know C# and I'll still bet I've got HelloWorld going on WM in under 30 mins...


FWIW - the next app, a simple GPS only took me about 30 mins. So you're right there.
