I expected better of you 5S.

Tell us about knot's proposal at woodnet to ban links to the Zone. A proposal that he made on 12/16/2008. Long before this was posted here.

It was never discussed at WN.

If you would like to discuss further, you can call me or we can exchange PMs.

I think posting stuff like this thread is appalling.

We ALL have friends at all 3 forums.

I can't believe grown men and women subscribe to conspiracy theories.

Can the screenshot bandit show me where I said anything?

Me thinks folks knickers are getting in a wad over interpretations.

Rather than guess what someone said or what someone thought they meant, why not just bypass the middlemen and go straight to the barn and speak with the horse??

This thread needs to self-destruct; it's creating more problems.

There should be no animosity toward any of the forums any of us visit (well, except SMC ).

Animosity should be reserved for individual posters.

Erik,

There are 3. things I see with that.

1. <insert mod name of choice here> is the mole of which folks speak.

2. Nothing mentioned that is new news.

If folks are banned from WN, when they try to re-register, aliases get banned.

And the Joe Lyddon rule: If you are gonna make $$$ off WN, WN should get paid.

3. My post was 'WTF you talkin bout, Willis?'

edited because my attempt at sarcasm sucked as much as Box's trying to blame all WN mods for the action of one person> <sorry, Joe>

And yet you still tried to deny it.

Jgrout is not the source as far as I know...in fact until today I thought it was you. Grout isn't a member of the 'bus AFAIK.

And the Joe Lyddon rule doesn't seem to apply to any other forum or site that is linked there. Find one instance where someone fromthe 'Zone has tried to make money off of woodnet. Just one. I'm sure you'll twist something up but in reality it will be no different than Pat Warner posting a link to his site to help someone with something.

And FTR I never said that you were part of the problem, just that you were aware of the thread because you posted in it. How's that "It was never discussed..." working for you now?

Excuse me.... jgrout is NOT "the mole". I know you guys like to just speak like you know everything at all times, but DO NOT do it here. That came from an anonymous email, NOT jgrout.

And along the theme of you guys thinking you know everything, I WAS NOT JOE THE MAN as knot seems to believe.

Please knock off this childish crap already.

There is a reason that the moderation at woodnet is held in such poor regard and if this all doesn't prove to you why, well then you need to do some soul searching. Making up rules as you go, taking actions against people and forums becaue of unproved hunches, defending yourselves on other forums with lies... it's pathetic.

NONE of this would have happened if you guys would just do your jobs as written instead of trying to rule the whole damned internet from one woodworking forum. Obviously one or more of your own are pissed off enough about it to send us that thread, perhaps you should think about that instead of coming here and trying to make US look bad.

Box, who sent you the email?

Who sent you the green room from WN screen shot?

Both should cause folks to lose trust in that/those individuals.

As i said in my first post, it seems some folks live for division/drama.

It's a shame grown adults must act that way.
