Default Drawers

No, not yer britches - cabinet drawers

I am building an outfeed table which will contain 4 drawers. I am trying to figure out how wide to build the drawers while leaving room for 100# ball bearing drawer slides. The website I was planning on ordering the slides from does not have any drawings or help features showing how thick the drawer slides are.

Are these things pretty standard or should I wait until I get the slides to figure the exact width of the drawers? Any suggestions to get the drawer stock cut up before waiting on these slides?

well 99% of the slides available are 1/2" per side for 100#

What type/ brand name are they?

The 1% are highly off brand and old as a general rule so I am reasonably confident that you won't run into them.

Design your drawer 1 1/32 -1 1/16" smaller than the opening and you should be fine.

The last ones I used were 1/2". It seemed pretty standard when I was shopping for them.

I bought mine here - http://www.gliderite.com/bearing.htm

Great pricing but shipping was on the high side. Still cheaper overall than others I looked at for buying multiple pairs.

These are the ones.

I am confident the -1 1/32" would be fine. those are very standard slides.

I think so. They also don't come with mounting screws.
