Welcome to WoodWorkersZone. com, a web based woodworking community with strong emphasis on teaching and mentoring. It is it's founders opinion that the prevalent forum model is not conducive to expand the woodworking knowledge base because, more often then not, woodworkers with real work experience and vast knowledge shy away and become discouraged from participating on said forums.
To reverse this trend the founders created this community imparting some unique features not usually found on woodworking communities:
- The WoodWiki with an ever expanding list of articles.
- The mentors forum in which members can get one on one assistance from accomplished woodworkers completing their projects.
- The online classes in which member, at their own pace, complete projects with the guidance of experts in their field.
- The Critique forum in which members can get an unvarnished but constructive critique of their designs or projects by his peers.
